Sandra Huggins, FNP-BC

My mother was referred to Sandra Huggins for primary care shortly after a stroke. The initial visit was fine but the two follow up visits within a span of a month were absolutely horrible. When my mother complained about not feeling well, her concerns were dismissed and ignored. Sandra did not familiarize herself with my mother's chart prior to the visit, so we spent unnecessary time repeating issues, and our questions were not fully answered. Our final visit to her office (which lasted ~6 minutes) was due to my mother complaining about nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Instead of examining her and doing a full assessment, she erroneously that they symptoms could have been another stroke and she needed to go to the ER. We asked her to review the medications because she was on 5 bp pills. She became defensively and argumentative. At that point, I decided that mother deserves better care and chose to end the visit. Sandra made a very snarky unprofessional comment as we left.
