The provider was professional, and took time to answer my questions. However, I experienced frequent follow-up visit requirements for routine matters such as referrals, medication renewals, and ongoing care, which led to more appointments and costs than expected. I also had concerns about certain billing charges and encountered delays with a referral that required additional coordination to resolve. While the provider herself was professional, I recommend that prospective patients ask about follow-up visit policies, referral procedures (even if seen within the last three weeks, you will still most likely need a PCP visit) medication renewals (e.g. every 3 months) and billing practices before establishing care. PCP care is supposed to decrease the cost of healthcare and I’ve spent more in the past 6 months seeing this provider than I did In the previous 2 years seeing my specialist.
