When I was diagnosed with Stage IV ovarian cancer, I was devastated and terrified. It was one of the scariest times of my life. From the very first minute I met Dr. Sellars, he made me laugh and feel comfortable.Over the course of eight months of treatment, Dr. Sellars was always there to answer my questions and talk me through whatever was worrying me. I never felt rushed during an appointment. Somehow, he could go from cracking jokes and making me giggle to explaining complex medical information in a way I could understand—even when some of it was way over my head!One thing that always made me smile was that every time I went for chemo or bloodwork, the nurses would ask who my doctor was. The moment I said, 'Dr. Sellars,' every single one of them, male or female—would light up and say, 'Oh my God, we LOVE him!' That told me everything I needed to know.I have recovered from Cancer and am doing well, and I owe it all to Dr. Maclean Sellars. (and my surgeon, Dr. May)
