Fernando has made a world of difference for my daughter. She came in a very dark place and he was gentle but honest. He doesn't just throw medicine at the issue and he doesn't ignore the issues. He asks and genuinely cares how the patients are doing. He seeks info and feedback from parents (If applicable) and keeps you informed (as much as patient and/or the law allows). He doesn't sugar coat things but he does try to be honest and straight forward without being brutal. When my daughter started seeing him, she wasn't getting out of bed, or showering. She wasn't doing homework, or engaging with the family, barely even coming out of her room. Now she is back in her extracurriculars and attending class and therapy and regularly taking her medications (that are verified monthly). I really think Fernando is for a very specific crowd. You will either vibe or you won't. He is cool, trendy, funny, sassy, engaging, welcoming of all types of people and backgrounds.
