Dr. Zhiyong Li, MD

Where do I start? I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Zhiyong Li at this practice in Garland. My experience was deeply frustrating from start to finish. Dr. Li does not make meaningful eye contact when he talks, and does not appear interested in fully understanding family concerns. He shows absolutely ZERO empathy for patients and their families considering the line of work he's in. Bedside manner is extremely important in healthcare, especially when patients and their families may already be feeling anxious or vulnerable. I understand that medical professionals are often under time pressure, but compassion and respectful communication are critical components of quality care. A doctor’s role is not just to diagnose, but to communicate clearly and provide reassurance when appropriate. In this case, that standard was not met. Healthcare requires not only clinical knowledge but also communication and bedside manner. I hope future patients and family will read this. Stay away!
