Dr. Zachary Ernst, MD

I did not have a good experience with this Dr. His staff was rude and sent me inflammatory messages in my Chart suggesting that I was requesting preferential treatment concerning insurance. When I addressed it with the Dr, instead of validating my concerns based on the message that he himself could read for verification, he insinuated that I misunderstood and took it the wrong way. He also continued to tell me that my symptoms were one thing when I told him very specifically that they were not what he thought they were. He tried to pigeon hole me into a GERD diagnosis when my symptoms are far more severe. My subsequent diagnosis at a different hospital confirmed a condition that requires surgery and is life-threatening if left untreated. Had I listened to this guy, I might not be here much longer. Shame on his nurse for painting me with a broad brush as a trouble maker and putting negative thoughts in his head which lead him to not take me seriously.
