I was fortunate to be accepted for Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection surgery by Dr Tomizawa. He successfully removed a Stage 1b tumor at the junction of my stomach and esophagus. It was not an easy surgery but he got clear margins around the tumor. He called me prior to the surgery, examined me in clinic the morning of the surgery, spoke with me in recovery following the surgery, called me the day after the surgery and again when he received the pathology report. I have never had a doctor be so communicative and thorough. I flew to Seattle from Alaska for the procedure and he was incredibly accommodating. He is my hero and I recommend him so highly.
