Dr Burkett told me the only way he could treat me is by doing a hysterectomy. As a young patient with the lowest grade cancer, I feel like he could have been more compassionate towards me and explored other options. Surgery to remove the organ that has cancer isn't always the best route of treatment. I'll never recommend him to anyone. I found another oncologist who listened to me and is treating me with medication that is working. If I had followed Dr Burkett's advice, I would've been stripped of ever having hope of having a child.
