I saw Dr. Muhammad at an Advent Health ER. I informed her I have a rare heart condition that limits the medications I'm able to take. She said she was familiar, which made me feel better. She then immediately tried to prescribe a medication that I am not allowed to take. She was adamant that I was able to take it. Upon doing my own research, and refusing it multiple times and asking for a different medication, she finally obliged to look for something different. She returned after speaking with the Advent Health pharmacist (she should have done this to start) and had another medication for me. Being adamant about a medication that is not safe and gaslighting me about the medicine was enough to engage with Advent Health about this doctor's behavior. Please find treatment elsewhere if you can help it
