I am writing to share my experience with Dr. Vinay K. Vaz regarding the care my child received from Vinay K. Vaz with Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Cent I am extremely concerned about the lack of responsiveness to serious mental health concerns that were repeatedly brought to this provider’s attention.On December 17, 2025, my child and I had our first appointment with Dr. Vaz. During this visit, I expressed deep concerns about my child’s current diagnosis and requested that she be reevaluated to ensure she was receiving the correct medication and treatment plan. I explained that we have been managing this diagnosis for approximately four years, and during that time we have had significant experiences with various medications.Unfortunately, it appeared that Dr. Vaz did not truly hear or consider the concerns we expressed. Instead of exploring reevaluation options or discussing alternatives, the conversation felt as though the provider was pushing his own predetermined treatment
