Very disappointing experience with Dr. Ajaz’s office. I arrived within a few minutes of my appointment and was physically there trying to check in, but their electronic screen was not responding and kept crashing. While I was dealing with it, I was marked as not present and told I had to reschedule.When I explained this to Erik at the front desk, he repeatedly talked over me and responded with a ton of attitude. I asked whether anyone had called my name before marking me absent. The answer was no. I asked that Dr. Ajaz be informed of what happened and make an exception to their strict 5-minute policy since I was physically there and their check-in issue contributed to the delay.Even after hearing what happened, Dr. Ajaz still chose to turn me away. Policies are understandable, but so is reasonable discretion and accountability when an issue happens on the office’s end.
