Our first appointment with this doctor was excellent. We felt heard, supported, and hopeful that my son was on the right path for recovery.Unfortunately, the follow-up appointment felt completely different. The doctor seemed irritated and dismissive during the visit. During the discussion, he insisted that several topics and instructions had been covered during the first appointment. However, those items were not reflected in the written discharge instructions we were given, which made the situation confusing. We followed the medication instructions exactly as they were written in the paperwork, but during the visit we were told it had been taken incorrectly. The tone of the appointment was uncomfortable and very different from the first visit. My son left feeling upset and confused by the interaction.Having worked in healthcare, the change in demeanor and communication during the second visit felt concerning. Based on this experience, we have decided not to return.
