Dr. Sebastian treated me for a rash on my stomach’s right side with anti-biotics that only made temporary improvement years ago. After repeated orders of anti-biotics with no permanent clearing up, he recommended for me to see a surgeon to cut out the area where the problem originated on the stomach side. This was without knowing the root cause. I subsequently saw Dr. Sawchuck, now retired, and he immediately did a biopsy that reported tick parts lodged in my side. I got issued a 3 week pack of medication to address potential lyme disease and the problem went away permanently. The lack of Dr. Sebastian to conduct a biopsy to get to the bottom of my problem mystifies me to this day and worse, would have had me go under the knife unnecessarily not knowing what the problem was. Dr. Sebastian failed his due diligence to figure out the root cause that would have resulted in an unnecessary invasive procedure.
