Dr. S Hillary Nack, DO

Was referred to Dr. Nack from my PCP for hip and radiating leg pain. Per PCP it was a bulging disc in back. I went to Dr. Nack who told me is was not my back but my hip and recommended a bursa injection and PT. The injection did not help and based on PT's findings, ordered 2 additional MRI's of thoracic and cervical spine. No significant findings on these MRI's so she said she was ordering a lumbar injection as a diagnostic tool. No relief. She then said it must be hip (again) and ordered an injection in my hip joint (diagnostic) and also gave me a steroid injection in upper glute at her office. None of this helped. All of this was out of pocket cost (over $4500) with no diagnosis or pain relief. I made my own appointment with a neurosurgeon who immediately found the compressed nerve and ordered another steroid injection- by this time I had reached my deductible but it was denied because she had ordered too many prior injections with no real diagnosis. Would not recommend.
