Dr. Sulekha Abukar, MD

I had a very frustrating experience with Abukar Sulekha and would not recommend this provider based on professionalism and patient care.My appointment was scheduled for 8:40 AM, and I arrived at 8:53 AM—only a few minutes late—due to mistakenly going into the neighboring office (Novant Health Carmel OB/GYN). During that time, I completed paperwork and even paid my co-pay before realizing I was in the wrong place.Even when explaining the situation, the doctor refused to see me, and the front desk staff had to process a refund. What made this even more disappointing is that the office reportedly allows a 15-minute grace period, yet no flexibility or understanding was extended.This felt unnecessarily rigid and raised concerns about the doctor’s bedside manner and overall approach to patient care. Based on this experience, I have no interest in rescheduling and would caution others to consider whether this level of inflexibility aligns with their expectations for care.
