My mom was seen in the ER for continued health concerns and we found out that she wouldn't be able to improve. When she asked him how long she had to live he said 2 days. She was moved to hospice and has had a week so far with us but that was like a freight train of information to give her when he didn't actually know how long. What a terrible thing to put her through and our family, thinking we literally had 2 days. Instead of saying it doesn't look like you have much time with how things have progressed. We are absolutely disgusted with how he approached this. We understand that nothing could be done to help her get better, but there needs to be some bedside manner with such horrible news.
