She told me she only allows 15 minutes per person on an appointment. I have stage four prostate cancer which has spread to the bone. I have a lot of questions and try to get all answered which is impossible. I ended up on ADT for 4 years. My testosterone count was 6. Needles to say I felt like I was wasting away with no strength. After 4 years I went to an oncologist and was told I should have never been put on leuprolide injections for adt for that length of time. The oncologist immediately took me off and started me on new oral medications. I stopped having all the side effects I was having from the leuprolide injections. It was so comforting the oncologist was very thorough asking me many questions and spending twice the length of time with me on my appt. The oncologist would even give me hugs each visit and truly showed compassion for me. At Dr Hughes I felt like she was just in a hurry to ring up another charge. It is sad that a good staff like she has is affiliated with her.
