My doctor ordered a MRI but Denham, through her tech Cliff, refused to allow me the MRI unless if I agreed to additional imaging that my doctor did not order. I told Cliff and Denham that I was only there for MRI and would not consent to additional imaging my doctor did not order. They refused me the MRI because I would not agree to additional imaging; I had to leave without having the MRI. Denham does not respect patient choice but instead tries to control and manipulate others, seemingly so that she can make more money with additional procedures. Denham, who doesn’t even know my medical history, would apparently rather accept the medical liability for not providing any imaging at all vs. providing the MRI my doctor ordered. Shameless. This is a terrible mark on Grandview where I have otherwise had great experiences with doctors. I filed a complaint with patient advocates but Randy and Kim are actually hospital advocates and do not respect patient choice either. Disappointed.
