I had an appointment with Dr. Marshall for the 1st time and I am very disappointed. The nurse that did my intake was lovely and asked me questions, took notes and seemed like she cared why I was there; while Dr. Marshall asked me 0 questions about my symptoms. I felt like I was constantly advocating for myself and frantically trying to say what I wanted to have addressed before being interrupted and being met with a monotone, non-empathetic, 5 word response and blank stare. It seemed like she could not wait to get out of the room. What happened to real “doctoring” and investigating? I’m not even sure I can say this is due to a lack of experience given that she has been a physician for so long or if she has just lost an interest in actually BEING a physician all together. OB/GYN is a medical specialty that requires empathy, investigative work, and tailored treatment plans… especially given that women’’s symptoms and issues are so often dismissed. Do not recommend.
