Started off well. Thought I'd finally found the right surgeon. In the end I had to cancel my surgery because their office failed to obtain the needed prior as authorizarion from my insurance company. Two days ago I received a call from the radiologist asking me to set up an appointment for a CT scan of my hips. When I pushed and asked when they received the order he finally told me September 28th! The surgery was scheduled for October 26th and I'm just hearing from the radiologist on NOVEMBER 2nd to set up an appointment for my "upcoming surgery". No wonder they never followed through with the needed prior authorization from my insurance. In fact, NO ONE has reached out at all. Initially I was told I could "just pay out of pocket" for the procedure and keep the date. Seriously?!? This place is a joke. And the face that they had 2 months to get everything approved only adds to the disappointment. I've requested my medical records be sent to my new doctor - avweek later and he hasn't received them. Disappointment. Unprofessional.
