Patient Reviews
Feb 05, 2026
During my appointment, Dr. Black told me that my condition was not surgical or “black and white” and stated that my case had been sent to her because other physicians did not want to manage it. She said this directly to me during the visit. After the appointment, Dr. Black did not offer follow-up appointments and also did not formally discharge me as a patient. This left me in an unclear care status—unable to continue care, unable to transfer care cleanly, and still listed as her patient within the Baylor Scott & White system.I documented these concerns and requested discharge through the patient portal. After doing so, my medical requests and messages—including documentation of my concerns and provider responses—were no longer accessible to me in the portal.I contacted Baylor Scott & White regarding this access issue. Both Dr. Black and BSW have continued to avoid acknowledging my medical requests for discharge and my complete records.
