I was diagnosed with a Cholesteatoma back in 2013. 2 ENTs in my hometown confirmed what it was, and my 2nd opinion provider referred me to Dr. Scwhartz because 'he was the best'. This surgery requires a high level of skill to be sure all the cells are removed, so that they would not proliferate again in the ear drum after surgery was completed. I am happy to say that despite all my hearing bones being destroyed due to this disease, Dr. Schwartz was able to get them all cleaned out and replaced my hearing bones with artificial hearing bones, which has allowed me to have excellent hearing now on that side. I can't thank him enough, even after all of these years. I just wanted to encourage others who may be facing scaring diagnosis, you are in great hands if you are going to be taken care of by this provider.
