Dr. Tokumura took care of me and my 2 year old son at an urgent care in Hilo and we just had the best experience. She is really exceptional. She made me feel comfortable, heard, and explained everything multiple times until we had no more questions. She was an angel with my son and held him on her lap for almost the whole encounter and he doesn't usually go to anyone else but immediate family. I'd say she went above and beyond for us, but I saw her with other people in the building and this woman just has a heart of gold. She was kind and loving and patient with all the patients and staff and she just glows with her own inner light. What a treat to meet and be cared for by this doctor!
