First of all, Sarah was very professional and a great doctor. However, because the Minneapolis Fairview Women's clinic is attached to a hospital, they will charge you 5x more than the industry standard. I got charged for the same exact CPT code multiple times and no one in billing could explain it. I ran the numbers for my procedure with Sarah Hutto ahead of time and it was quoted at $589. The total bill I received after insurance was $2,600. If you google this procedure, the going rate is $400-$600. Assuming they’re somehow hiding behind the fact that they’re attached to a hospital to get away with this. Don't risk it even if you run the price ahead of time.
