I visited this office today for two separate appointments—one for myself and one for a friend. Both appointments were important, and we were on a tight schedule. Since my friend does not speak English, I called ahead and specifically asked whether translation services were available. The staff member assured me that they do provide interpreter support through a phone service. Based on that information, we booked the appointments and arrived 15 minutes early as instructed.However, the moment we checked in, the receptionist immediately told us—before we even asked—that the translation service only works on the phone at the front desk and NOT inside the exam rooms. When I asked how my friend was supposed to communicate with the doctor in the exam room, they had no answer.I even offered a reasonable solution: my friend could call me from her phone so I could translate for her during the visit.
