I’ve experienced double billing; absence of follow up to lab work and other medical tests; it took 2 office visits, several phone calls and emails to obtain a correctly completed prescription for a replacement cpap machine; he also uses his phone to research answer to questions. I once had an office visit where he had 2 medical student interns in the exam room, and Dr. Piedad and the students started talking about characters in Lord of the Rings while I sat on the exam table. The final straw was his office suggested a remote blood pressure monitoring system telling me it was 100% covered by my insurance and then he started billing me for it. He was my PCP for several years, but no longer will I accept his unprofessional care.
