?I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience with Dr. Samira. I have been a diabetic for a long time and have been under the care of another doctor who had me on a successful treatment plan using OP injection. This medication has been working for me, which is exactly why my A1C is currently normal, it means the treatment is effective, not that the disease is gone.?Despite my long history and the stability I’ve achieved, Dr. Samira seems to lack the necessary understanding of my condition. Instead of maintaining what works, she insisted that because my numbers are 'normal' now, I should stop OP and go back to basic treatment. It felt like she completely ignored the fact that the medication is the reason my levels are controlled.?I felt unheard and unsafe with this decision. I need a doctor who understands the continuity of care and listens to a patient’s long-term history, rather than one who tries to fix what isn't broken. I cannot recommend her.
