Dr. T changed my life. I spent over 25 years battling mental health issues, from adolescence until I began treatment with him a few years ago. Depression wasn’t even the hardest part; it was the chronic numbness and derealization that had been misdiagnosed as depression for over two decades. Add OCD and generalized anxiety disorder, and life felt empty. I couldn’t feel joy or sadness, only anxiety and anger. Before Dr. T, I tried everything: self-help books, meditation, mindfulness, medication, therapy, etc. Nothing worked. I still felt detached, struggled with episodic memory loss, and had lost hope of ever truly feeling again.Seeing Dr. T was a last-ditch effort I expected to fail. Within two appointments, he correctly identified adolescent trauma-induced complex PTSD. After starting treatment, my OCD and rumination improved within months. Over the next 3–4 years, I became more integrated and more myself than ever before. Life is now something I look forward to.
