Dr. Richard Huffaker, DO

I spent years as a veteran trying to navigate the insurance from the VA and limited options for doctors. It took almost 3 years since my maxo-fascial surgery to follow up with ENT. I had CT scans and X-rays done by an outside provider as well as a CT Asanti ordered. 3rd one in 3 years. He would not listen and brushed off my concerns about a foreign object in my sinus cavity. He told me “I’m the ENT so are you going to listen or not” and proceeded to review the CT scan that did not show the objects. The CT had been done 4 months prior, I knew what it showed as I already reviewed it. He was very condescending. He scoffed when I told him I have a degree in biology and was in grad school for DPT. Luckily admin was able to get me in with another provider even though he objected that, it was over 5 months to get this appointment and had it not been for admin it would be another year before I was seen.
