Dr. Rebecca Chiffer, MD

I am very upset, I waited for a long time to get my appt with Rebecca Chiffer, MD ENT!! The Jefferson my chart that states she is a ENT (ear, nose & throat specialist) I had a appt with this ENT for issues with my ear ringing & a recent nose injury & for my recent endocrinologist who did a ultrasound of my throat & it showed I have a nogle in my throat & I was referred to a VIRTUA ENT but, I went to this Jefferson ENT!! I been having severe dizziness & ringing in my ear & my referral to see a ENT for my nogle & trouble swallowing! THIS ENT SAID SHE SPECIALIZES IN DIZZINESS & INNER EAR ISSUES!! THIS ENT SPECIALIST WAISTED MY TIME! I’VE BEEN GETTING DIZZY & I HAD NUMEROUS RECENT FALLS DUE TO DIZZINESS PROBLEMS!! I DIDNOT appreciate this ENT specialist made me wait over two hours. I had an appointment for 1:40 & I was told to come 20 minutes earlier & I asked the front desk girl why was I told to come 20mins early & she said just to get you here on time!! . I did arrived at Jefferson Navy Yard from NJ & I arrived at 1:20pm & I did not get to see this doctor until 2:20pm and then this ENT doctor spent not even five minutes with me & she was rushing me out!! I said to her I waited a few months to get my appointment with her & I had to wait over 1 1/2 hours to see this ENT & AGAIN SHE WAS RUSHING MY TIME WITH HER & THIS ENT TOLD ME I NEED TO GO SEE A “ENT” & SAID I NEED TO GO SEE A NEUROLOGIST FOR MY DIZZINESS & RINGING IN MY LEFT EAR. She told me she has an emergency surgery to go to, and that she was getting all her patience in before she had to go to the hospital to do a surgery!! My time is just as valuable as her time! She totally wasted my time waiting to see an ENT who does not specialize in ENT & she’stold me she only specializes in inner ear & dizziness issues!!! Unbelievable! She did nothing for me & spent very little time with me after I waited 2 hours to see this ENT WHO IS NOT A ENT!! Besides, she had poor bedside manner & she rushed me through my appointment and I waited another half hour for her medical assistant to write up my referrals for a ENT & a neurologist for my dizziness and my ringing in my ear! Total waste of my time & the gas to get to navy yard inboard from NJ & she should refund me my $25 co-pay that she said do you want your co-pay back? I should’ve said yes! If you have a Ear, Nose or Throat issues find another ENT! Rebecca Chiffer, MD
