Dr. Rebecca Chase, DO

Dr. Chase performed surgery on my broken fibula and ankle. Throughout my treatment, I felt concerns were dismissed and my questions about my injury and recovery were not adequately addressed. Despite following her instructions, I continued to experience significant pain and limited mobility. Eight months after surgery, I was told I would likely have to live with chronic pain and a limp for the rest of my life. No MRI, ultrasound, or specialist referral was ever recommended despite ongoing symptoms. After seeking a second opinion, additional injuries, including a torn ligament and tendon, and additional hardware were identified and required a second surgery approximately 10 months later. Based on my experience, I believe Dr. Chase failed to fully evaluate the extent of my injury, resulting in delayed diagnosis, prolonged recovery, additional surgery, and unnecessary pain and suffering. I am deeply disappointed with the care I received.
