Dr. Ravi Alapati, MD

Everyone said repeatedly how much I would LOVE DR. Alapati. I was left in an exam room for 1 and 1/2 hours waiting for him to come. I could hear him going in to see other patients and the nurse remind him I was waiting and he said, 'She can wait!' It was my first time seeing him. I had been referred by another surgeon who thought Dr. Alapati had more experience with my complex situation involving more than one organ. He brushed off my questions saying he would address them 'later'. He did not treat me like a unique individual but quite the opposite, as just another patient who had failed to keep herself in good health and now needed him to fix everything! He was in a hurry to get the visit over with and had a negative condescending attitude. He left the room saying for me to stay and wait for the nurse. When he closed the door, I heard him say to the nurse ' Give her the instructions and if she doesn't comply completely, send back her back to DR. __!'(the referring DR.)
