Dr. Ramzi Khazen, MD

I would not recommend this primary care physician to anybody. My main concerns were unexplained, excruciating pain throughout my body. I had one appointment with him where he sent out a referral to a rheumatologist. After Rheumatology told me there was nothing they could do, Dr. Khazen insisted that I go on an antidepressant to which I told him I was not comfortable with until we did a bit more digging/testing to try to figure out what could be causing the pain. He refused to prescribe me with anything helpful for my concerns. He refused to run thyroid bloodwork even though there is a history of thyroid issues in my immediate family. He was incredibly unhelpful and unwilling to do any research into my issues to help me figure out what was wrong with me. He was unwilling to partner with other caregivers who were actually trying to help me understand where the pain was stemming from. Please seek out a different PCP.
