From a provider officeThe needed injection was denied, and AFTER a peer to peer was done and we were told it was approved upon receipt of documentation, documentation was faxed as well as uploaded to the provider portal. The request sat for 2 weeks. When we called to follow up, we were then told, it was denied again as no documentation was received, despite it being clearly on the portal. After we pointed out the documentation was loaded on the portal and has been in process for 2 weeks, the rep then stated it would need more documentation.We uploaded ADDITIONAL documentation and confirmed it had been received. Again, no response. We called again and were told it will require a second peer to peer.Extremely disappointing. This is intentionally impeding patient care.
