I am SEETHING right now over the treatment I have received from this provider in Georgia and this doctor for the last 6 months, so I am putting this out there as a PSA for anyone who lives in Georgia to see. Every SINGLE time I call her- a referral, a letter, or a prescription refill- she (or they) want me to come in to see her. I was generally cool with this, until up to about 6 months ago when I really started noticing a pattern. I started to realize that regardless of the fact that she had been my primary care provider for a while and she is the one who knows EXACTLY what my issues already are and has all of the up-to-date information on me, that it didn't matter. What DID matter was that I made a paid appointment to come in. She will not call take a 3-minute call if you are having an emergency either because she is not, as she called it, a 'concierge' service.
