Our experience was she didn't listen to us and acted quite antipathetic towards my husband and me when we tried to address what the cardiologist who cared for my husband (including performing his cardiac cath) in the hospital said. She tried to push medication and did not appear to be respectful of my husband's right to bodily autonomy and right to decline. While our original cardiologist didn't necessarily agree with our decision, he respected that it was ours to make. We thought we'd give her a try since she's closer. Not a good decision on our part. We will be going back to the original cardiologist who listened and didn't act offended because you want a second opinion or have another medical provider who has a differing opinion.
