Patient Reviews
Jul 14, 2026
Dr. Prasad is pleasant, but after I declined ET, I felt very dismissed. My appointments consisted of being asked how I felt, told that it was normal, and pressured to take a medication I'd already expressed I did not want to take. I did eventually start taking it and felt horrible. I sent a message to ask if I could lower my dose and was told I'd have to make an appointment to receive an answer. Recently, I asked through MyChart if there was a part of my treatment that had been omitted. Again, I was told I'd have to make an appointment to get an answer. There is no reason to pay a copay for a yes or no answer. The rest of my oncology team made me feel heard and treated me the same when I did what they wanted me to or not. That has not been my experience with Dr. Prasad. If a patient sends a question through the app provided, and that question can be answered with a yes or no, doctors shouldn't withhold. If the answer is yes, but we need to talk through implications, say that.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
