I am writing to share my amazing experience with Dr. Petra Klinge at Brown Neurosurgery and Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. I was born with a rare spine condition that was missed and which caused major, progressive health issues. We traveled from out of state to see Dr. Klinge, who is a renowned expert in this condition and has the best surgical outcomes IMHO due to her innovative technique. Dr. Klinge is so knowledgeable and caring, and I felt supported in my decision to undergo surgery. Dr. Klinge and her whole team were excellent at accommodating my complex medical situation and I received excellent care during the whole process. The surgery totally changed my life and I will be forever grateful. In addition, Dr. Klinge does so much to raise awareness around this condition at conferences etc., as well as conduct and publish research, when she’s already so in-demand as a surgeon. She goes above and beyond for those of us affected by this condition. Thank you, Dr. Klinge!
