Was actually referred here from a friend and the wing forward on my rugby team. Suffering from tenosynovitis and a left knee joint popliteal cyst, I was initially sent to some ego maniac at Rush who purports to treat many Chicago Bulls players but believes himself the second coming of Frank Jobe, M.D. Laughable, I waited 2 hours for this null set and got less than three minutes of his time. I drove about 4 hours and 20 minutes to reach Bonutti Clinic in bucolic Effingham, IL. First time, and hopefully last time, there, I was stunned to find a physician of this caliber practicing there. Such a kind, competent and down to earth physician and one for whom I have great respect. He spent about 35 minutes reviewing my symptoms and recommended a conservative approach. Eventually had the popliteal cyst aspirated and feel much better now. This fine physician and I both went to the same undergraduate university. He forgot more than the Rush clown ever knew.
