Dr. Patrick Waring, his PA Joe, all Nurses and staff members have been a Godsend for my husband over the last 5+ years! My husband, who had been a cyclist, had an unexpected back injury that led him to also become diagnosed with a Pars Defect. I won’t forget how helpless I felt as I watched my strong, active husband lie in the fetal position while incapacitated and in excruciating pain. A surgeon recommended Dr. Waring, who has not only managed to KEEP my husband out of the pain, numbness and disfunction that his injury and condition caused, but has prevented him from resulting to back surgery and amazingly, has put him back onto his bike, being able to cycle almost daily-which is his passion and love! Through some trial and error procedurally, and with NON-NARCOTIC medication, my husband continues to stay a strong, active man and remains thriving because of the care that Dr. Waring’s team provides him. As his wife, I encourage him to stay in contact with Dr. Waring, even when he’s feeling his best, so that he REMAINS pain-free and active and so that the team can address any bumps in the road that we can (and on a few occasions, have) run into. The staff have always been so accommodating when my husband has hit a bump in the road (no pun intended!), and with each visit, the amount of time my husband is in pain is lessened. The staff have been wonderful and swift in communicating with me and getting back to my husband when scheduling appointments. The well refined, compassionate care provided is next to none and if this team could be replicated, more people would be not only living their lives, but THRIVING!
