Dr. Pardha Pavan Devaki, MD

I had a pathetic experience with Dr. Devaki. I was admitted due to high liver enzymes and a high risk of liver failure in ER. However, after keeping me overnight, Dr. Devaki told me, “I can’t find the reason, so I can’t treat you. Wait two weeks—if your liver heals, fine; if it fails completely, we’ll consider a transplant.” Then I was discharged with no meaningful treatment or solution. Seriously, means is this the way a Dr with such vast experience treats the critically ill patients? Means no urgency, no effort to find the cause, and absolutely no compassion. Highly careless and ruthless behavior. While my reports were clearly pointing towards the underline issue which another Dr immediately pointed out later seeing the same reports, but instead of investigating it properly, Dr Devaki kept on convincing me that I use Acetaminophen which caused it I repeatedly told him I had never taken it. Highly unacceptable failure of care.
