Dr. Oladapo Alade, MD

I had one of the worst medical experiences in 15 years living in Houston with Dr. Alade. I sought a second opinion but left feeling dismissed and dehumanized. He was aggressive, lacked compassion, and seemed more focused on questioning ME over my previous surgeon’s decisions than helping me understand medically what was done to me. When I asked him to confirm my diagnosis or address my symptoms, he was evasive and condescending, even raising his voice at one point, saying, “There’s no normal.” He refused to offer any guidance or help, instead telling me to go back to the original surgeon I was trying to avoid for becoming violent with me for “questioning his procedure”. By the end of the visit, I felt defeated. Even the nurse noticed my distress and checked on me. This appointment was cold, unhelpful, and left me questioning his commitment to patient care. If you plan to see him, be prepared for a lack of compassion and a deeply unsupportive experience.
