Great experience all around and finally finding an actual, working treatment. My son has had a peanut allergies since the age of two. It was extremely worrisome alarming for us when we found out. For years, another allergist just kept telling us to avoid peanuts and giving us epi‘s. Now my son is 10. A few months ago his pediatrician newtown recommended him for oral immunotherapy treatment but the downtown waitlist is 2 years. I got on the list anyways. But at the next appt, they told us to go to PURE Allergy in newtown. We had an appointment within a week, and we’re able to start treatment two weeks later. The doctor and staff are great. Everything is scheduled. And it’s been so smooth. We started OIT and he’s at beginning levels but he’s doing well and we think within a year he should be able to avoid accidental ingestion. It’s amazing and removes so much stress/anxiety. Can’t recommend them enough.
