On first and only visit for hypertension I was told to cut the potassium out and we’ll see you on 17th of September, that was in July. Went into the ER on August 5 with numbers this site will not allow me to post.. for some reason. Anyway, the ER doctor sure seemed concerned. I was told to see my primary and nephrologist as soon as possible. A little morphine and a bunch of potassium and they got me back on my feet. I called the nephrologist office and was told there were no appointments available the Dr. had looked my ER notes over and I was all good until my next appointment on the 17th..well over a month away. I’m just a simple country boy but when you hit those #’s and the doctors are saying you need help what do you do? I guess in medicine that’s why they call it practice. Hopefully I’ll find somebody who has practiced just bit more.
