Patient Reviews

At the appointment of my breast cancer biopsy,( the ultrasound Tech was in the room as well to witness everything ) I expressed being upset at a positive breast cancer diagnosis, he asked me “ Did you think that you would never die in your life?” I was in shock to even get such an insensitive question, and I don’t know why I even responded to his question, but I answered, him through my tears, “ I just thought I would have a big heart attack and die, not die from cancer”. This question was unprofessional , insensitive and inappropriate at best. Words matter when dealing with patients that are having anxiety over any kind of life threatening diagnosis.
