Most dystonia’s are a result of an imbalance within the TMJ and the C-spine due to many repeated micro injuries. I HAD Oral mandibular dystonia for four years and went to a specialized TMJ doctor (who has been known to help reduce dystonia and tic symptoms and after a week of seeing said doctor I could chew with no issues. But when I tried to tell Dr Korsmo that he told me I didn’t know what I was talking about. My question to him is this - since no neurologist or mainstream Western medicine doctor has been able to find out the root cause of dystonia/tics AND I was able to get rid of my OMD, then don’t you think there’s a correlation between the TMJ and dystonia symptoms?! People will one day realized that dystonia and tics are treatable but until they do this doctor will keep trying to help people by covering up/treating the symptoms, not the real cause.
