I have visited Dr Karns twice and both times I have left extremely disappointed. The day after breaking my arm, I went for my appt. and he was so rough in handling my arm that I had to slap his hand away! I went in for my scheduled visit yesterday and he asked if I had been wearing my sling for the whole month. When I said that I had, he reprimanded me and said, You should NOT have been wearing it for that long!!! I responded that he NEVER gave me instructions on when or how long to use it. He NEVER reached out to give me information on when to stop using it! He is the doctor, that is HIS JOB! Again he was very rough with my arm and I had to bat his hand away... I asked him 3 questions and his response was.....I don't know. That is why he is paid the big bucks! I am changing Orthopedic doctors - maybe is a good surgeon - maybe he only treats professional football players kindly - whatever... I am not going back to him
