Patient Reviews
May 08, 2026
I am extremely concerned about the discharge planning and lack of safety measures during this hospitalization with this doctor. The patient was being discharged without appropriate medications arranged to continue care at home, despite ongoing serious medical needs.Even more alarming, a pulse oximetry test reportedly showed oxygen levels dropping to 81%, yet no oxygen support or clear intervention was provided. Oxygen saturation at that level can indicate significant hypoxia and should be taken seriously, especially in a medically fragile patient. Given that at discharge hemoglobin was sitting at 8.1 no blood gases were drawn. There appeared to be a lack of coordination, inadequate discharge preparation, and poor continuity of care. Family should not have to fight to ensure that necessary medications, oxygen evaluation, and safe discharge planning are properly addressed before a vulnerable patient is sent home. Know you rights if you deal with this doctor.
