Dr. Bernard is a very good Doctor, listens well, offers strong advice. However there are major issues with the Covenant Health scheduling department and patient communications. I used the patient portal to communicate. I rec'd a text saying my appointment was a certain date and time. It was incorrect so I emailed and texted a reply. The response was nonsensical. No one read my reply, just resent the incorrect info. This went on and on. I finally went to the site on Chapman and reset the time for an annual physical. I recd a notice that it was for an office visit , not a physical. Totally oblivious back of the house staff. This was the 2nd time my appointment was messed up. In 2024 I showed up but the staff was not there at all!I really like the physician, but it is hard to stay a patient with lack of concern or competence is worrisome.
