Dr. Michael Barbara is probably the best primary physician I've had in a very long time. He has extensive experience and knowledge from emergency medicine (ER) to internal medicine (IM). He is also up to date on most every aspect of medicine (immunology, undifferentiated adult care and safe/effective treatment options). He represents the high standard and quality of internal medicine practiced in the past, offering broad critical thinking ('outside the box') solutions seldom found in today's medical establishment. He also possesses exceptional communication skills and a deeply compassionate approach to care. Dr. Barbara is an exceptionally outstanding internal medicine specialist within the Community North hospital network.
